                      PURCHASE OF VEHICLES

 

Sealed tenders are invited from manufactures/ Assemblers/ Authorized Dealers for supply of Vehicles  to the Chamalang Coal Project Geological Survey of Pakistan HQrs. Quetta as per specification and conditioned below.

 

Locally manufactured /Assembled Pick Up Single Cabin 2WD Long Wheelbase Model 2008 HILUX TOYOTA or equivalent vehicle Displacement from 2500 CC to 3500 CC, Diesel engine 4 Cylinder, A/C, Non A/C, Manual Transmission, Door mirror/ Rear View Mirror Two, Sun visor Two, Seating capacity Three including driver, All other essential accessories, Tool Kit set etc.

Vehicle should be tuff powerful and reliable in rugged rough terrain; mountainous areas for exploration work in the country Specially Balochistan.

 

2 Door Pick up Conversion  to 4 Door Pick up with best standard.

Interested parties should submit their bids in close Cover marked on envelope for Purchase of Vehicles in Pak Rupees inclusive of all taxes    ( i.e. GST/ I. Tax/ WH. Tax etc. ) Withholding tax will be deducted as per Government Rules from the Bill/ Invoice at source, C&F/ F.O.R. Quetta along with 2.5 % earnest money in shape of draft/ pay order in the name of Director General, Geological Survey of Pakistan, Quetta. The Bids should be unconditional and valid for 120 days and also accompany with copies of Income Tax, General Sales Tax registration certificate etc. valid up to 30th. June 2008 and Distribution/ Dealership certificate and should have the certified authority for supply of vehicles from the manufacturer or sole distributor. The quotation should accompanied with Brochers, Specifications and Guide Book etc. after sale service facilities and earliest Time of delivery and Warranty for at least ONE year for replacement of parts & service free of any charge at Quetta. The manufacturer/ assembler/ dealer should have to make it convenient for inspection of vehicles before handing over and must be brand new free from any manufacturing defect. After receiving the supply order supplier should complete the order within 30 days otherwise 2% penalty will be imposed as fine.

 

The Bids will be received up to 27-06-2008 by 10.30 A.M. in the office of  Project Director and will be opened on the same day in the presence of the interested parties or their representatives at 11.30 am.

 

The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any/ all bids partly or totally with out assigning any reason, reduce or increase the Quantity according to the needs of the department and not necessary to except the lowest tender on technical grounds etc.
