Purchase
of Vehicles
Sealed tenders are invited from GST/IT
registered
Firms/Suppliers/Manufacturers/Assemblers for the supply of vehicles to
the on-going development project (Accelerated Geological Mapping), Geological
Survey of Pakistan as per specification and terms mentioned below:-

manufactured/assembled prominent driven, four wheel(4x4) Hard top body jeep
vehicle from 1800cc-2800cc, 4 cylinder, diesel engine, power steering, adjust
facility 3-5 doors, five to seven seating capacity including Driver. Vehicle
should be powerful and reliable in rugged rough mountainous terrain for
exploration work in the country and easily availability of spare parts in
remote areas and cost effective maintenance, tool its, right hand drive and
with all regular essential accessories, tool kits etc. |

assembled/manufactured Two doors Pick-up single cabin 4x4 WD long wheel base
model 2006 vehicle from 2000cc - 3000cc, Diesel engine, 4 cylinder in line
DHC, manuals Transmission, door mirror/gear view mirror two, sea5ting
capacity three including driver, and other essential accessories, tool kit
etc. |

Interested parties should submit their
bids in closed covers marked on envelope for purchase or vehicles in Pak rupees
inclusive of all taxes (i.e. GST/I.T/WH Tax etc) withholding tax will be
deducted as per Government Rules from the bill/invoice at source, C&F/F.O.R.
Quetta along with 2.5% earnest money in shape of Draft/Pay Order in the name of
Director General, Geological Survey of Pakistan, Quetta. The bids should be
unconditional valid for 120 days and also accompany with copies of I.Tax, GST
registration Certificate etc. The Distribution/Dealership Certificate should
have the certified authority for supply of vehicles from the manufacturer or
sole distributor. The quotation should be accompanied with Brochures,
Specifications and Guide Book etc. after sale service facilities and earliest
time of delivery and warranty for at least one year for replacement of parts
and service free of any charge at the stations mentioned above. The
manufacturer/assembler/dealer should have to make it convenient for inspection
of vehicles before handing over and must be brand new free from any
manufacturing defect. After receiving the supply order supplier should complete
the order within 60 days otherwise 2% penalty will be imposed as fine.
The bids will be received upto 4th September
2006and will be opened on the same day in the presence of the interested
parties or their representatives at 11.00 a.m.
The Competent Authority i.e. Project
Director reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids partly or totally
without assigning any reason, reduce or increase the quantity according to the
needs of the department and not necessarily accept the lowest tender on
technical ground etc.
