TENDER  NOTICE

PURCHASE OF LABORATORY INSTRUMENTS

 

Sealed tenders are invited from GST/IT registered firms/suppliers/ manufactures/Assemblers for the on going project (Up-gradation and Strengthening of Geoscience Advance Research Laboratories) of the Geological Survey of Pakistan, Islamabad as per specifications and terms mentioned below:-

  • Scanning Electron Microscope with Energy Dispersive Analyzer (SEM-EDS). EDS without using liquid nitrogen (Dry).
  • System should be operateable into modes of operation, high vacuum and low vacuum selected via software.

  • Image must be saved as TIFF, MBP or JPEG format.
  • Microscope should include a CDD Camera to view inside of the chamber and stage.
  • User interface should be based on window XP.
  • System should not require cooling water and compressed air.
  • The system should include one CD with user training and on-line help functions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Interested parties should submit their bids close cover marked on envelop for purchase of instruments in Pak Rupees inclusive of all Taxes (i. e., GST, Tax/WH. Tax etc.) with holding tax will be deducted as per Government Rules from the bill/invoice at source, C&F/F. O. R. Islamabad along with 2.5% earnest money in shape of Draft/pay order in the name of Project Director, Geoscience Advance Research Laboratories, Geological Survey of Pakistan, Islamabad.  The bids should be unconditional, valid for 120 days and also accompany with copies of Income Tax, GST registration certificates etc., valid up to SIX MONTHS TIME and Distribution/Dealership certificate and should have the certified authority for supply of instruments from the manufacturer or sole distributor.  The quotation should accompanied with Broachers, specifications and Guide Book etc., after sale service facilities and earliest time of delivery and Warranty for at least one year for replacement of parts and service free of any charge at the stations mentioned above.  The manufacturer/assembler/dealer should have to make it convenient for inspection of instruments before handing over and must be brand new free from any manufacturing defect.  After receiving the supply order, the supplier should complete the order within 60 days otherwise 2% penalty will be imposed as fine.

      The bids should be received up to 23-10-2007 by 1100 am and will be opened on the same day in the presence of the interested parties or their representatives at 1130 am.

      The Project Director reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids partly or totally with out assigning any reason, reduce or increase the quantity according to the needs of the department and not necessary to accept the lower tender on technical ground etc.
