RE-TENDER NOTICE

Sealed quotations are invited from GST/IT registered Firms/ Suppliers/ Manufacturers for supply of items to the Ground follow up of Aero magnetic anomalies Chagai and Lasbela Project Quetta as per specifications and terms conditions mentioned below

D. Power supply for the complete system Note: i) Test and Caliberation Kits, standard accessories to be provided where ever required. Combination / multifunction probes / parameters would be selected /short listed from the different offered logging probe packages (bids) giving flexibility for maximum measurable parameters compatible with the system as a whole deemed to be having the best system configuration and combination of down hole and up hole instruments.ii) Short listed mandatory portable logger accessories, spares and Consumables for a long term trouble free system operation by the Principals to be provided. iii) The bidders should include a package for a short training program by the Principals System Engineer in Pakistan for system Installation, commissioning operator training, testing preferably in a bore hole. All expenses in connection with the training program to be borne by the bidder and be indicated in the bid iv) The bidders to provide a clients list in Pakistan v) After sales service with free replacement of parts (no service charges) within the warranty period of one year. Terms and conditions

Interested parties should submit their bids for items with relevant brochures on unit base FOR Quetta indicating the Quoted Items marked on envelopes in separate covers in Pak Rupees inclusive of all taxes (GST, I.Tax, Customs Duty etc) with 2.5 % earnest money in the shape of Draft/Pay order in the name of Director General Geological Survey of Pakistan Quetta. The bids should be unconditional valid for 120 days and accompany with I.Tax , GST Registration Certificates, Distribution / Dealership /Authorization certificates. Conditional Payment terms / mode of payment by the bidders for Advance or partial payments would not be entertained. Full payment would be released after successful Installation / Commissioning/ Testing/Operator training by the Principals System engineer has been conducted for GSP in Pakistan and the equipment performance found satisfactory by the Technical Evaluation Committee. The selection would be based on the technical evaluation/assessment of the best package / configuration comprising the up hole system and down hole probes and therefore would not be constrained for acceptance of necessarily the lowest offer after technical scrutiny by the Competent Authority. Detailed technical description and literature of the quoted item (s) to be provided which should be explicit and exhaustive for the TEC for a prompt system appraisal/assessment without spending much time on follow up petty queries. It would be mandatory that the supply of the items be made in full prior to 30.6.2007 . The bids will be received upto 5..3. 2007 till 10.00 am and would be opened on the same day at 10.30 am by the Purchase Committee in the presence of the bidding parties or their representatives whoever are present . The Competent Authority reserves the right to fully or partially accept or reject any / all bid (s), partly or totally reduce or increase the quantity of items or annul the entire bidding process at any time/stage without assigning any reason thereof.
